Who could know that putting a boat to bed for the summer would be so much work???
We have been working each day until it just gets too hot to handle then laying low until the sun goes down. Yesterday a friend from the Tucson Sailing Club came by and we got ahead by a day with his help (Thanks Bob). Then it was out to dinner at La Palapa for Greek fare; what could be better? Overall there are likely about two more days of steady work ahead then on Monday the haul out in the after noon. With a little luck we should be ready to point the truck toward Tucson on Wednesday. This is like the end of any long adventure with the bonus that a new one is taking shape. Well, off to breakfast then more work!!!
